White Horse Folk

The White Horse Inn has hosted folk nights every other Monday since 1993. The club is held in the bar of the pub, which creates a unique and intimate atmosphere. The bar is small enough for musicians and singers to perform without amplification.

We welcome all musicians, the very young and the very old, the very amateur and the very professional. We try and book a guest once a month, ie: every other session. On guest nights, naturally, there is less time for the floor spots.

The word folk in our name may be slightly misleading. We attract both traditional and contemporary folk singers and players, blues singers, blue grass bands, jug bands and country singers. In fact, all folks are welcome.
